Just wanted to see if anyone else was thinking about paying for this magazine subscription.

JR's ubscription

They are tempting me with a sampler, which is worth the cost of the subscription.

It could be considered as buying the sampler and getting a 2 year subscription to their new mag.

My g/f already informed me Im getting a subscription, unfortunately she cant remeber what sampler she picked so I will let ya know when it shows up lol

Also there are previous posts by me and others( cant remeber name) were we signed up for a free copy after taking a survey and the possibility of being picked in there lottery for free cigars to rate

It's too bad Lew Rothman sold the company

When he used to own the company, the catalogs were alomst like a magazine, with all kinds of great stories about his company, his lovely wife and his adventures in the cigar business.

Since then, the catalogs are boring, the 1:00 a.m. madness specials are just about worthless, etc.

MAN on man, I wish Lew still owned it

I'll probably bite for the two year subscription deal. They better darn well have sections on cuban cigars :0 If not, two years will do it for me

Lew mentioned on another board that those who signed up for the free subscription AND signed up for the two year deal will have a 3 year subscription on account.

Also, no habanos will be rated, although featured stories may have habanos insights.
