Going to see the Sox play against the Royals this weekend. My question is, Is there anywhere decent in that area to EAT authentic Kansas City BBQ? Also any decent bars and or places to smoke cigars? I will be in town for Saturday and Sundays game. If any of you guys want to get together for a smoke and or to catch the game let me know.

Also is tailgating allowed in the parking lots?

LMAO, and the Royals DON'T! :laugh: I haven't been following the really BAD teams like the Cubs, Pirates and the Royals lately but does anyone know who has the worst record in the majors at this point? ???

On a side note, MAN do the Cubs SUCK. :sign: St. Louis is in freefall but no, the Cubs hand them three games in a row this past weekend. If they keep that up, LCSmoker's Pirates will overtake the hapless Cubs and drop them to dead last in the NL Central. :laugh:

The Cardinals are in a free fall playing a series with the Fish tonight and the Fish are hot. Too bad we don't have any more games with the Cubs.

hehe...Outlaw is up North at Exit 5 off I-29. So its a good clip to the stadium. I think its 30 min drive if all goes well. Unfortunately, this is bad timing. I'm coming down on the 1st since its my bday but will probably leave for home that night. I havent decided yet and then leave for Vegas on the 4th. Plus to make it a strange weekend, Smokyballs bday is a day after mine. :0

Personally, I like Jack Stacks way better than the Arthur Bryants at the Casino. I havent been to the actual restaurant to confirm if its better than Jack Stacks.

Arthur Bryants is the way to go. But not that BS in the Casino go to the one downtown on 17th and Brooklyn(Im pretty sure). I was flipping through channels the other day and they were doing a feature on it on the Discovery Channel. I say its better than Jack Stacks. LC's by the stadium is pretty good too though.

Dude, you're gonna have a blast!

The Outlaw is about 5-10 min from the airport, and the stadium is about 30-45 min from The Outlaw. If you want to stay close to the stadium, look for a place in Independace, MO. They open the parkinglots to tail-gating about 3 hours before the game.

I missed eating out at any of those joints .... I guess I'll need to head down there again!! :whistling:
