Beautiful cigar, great overall presence with the white and gold bands.
Pre Light aroma: hay, cream, sugar, peach tea
Cold draw: faint aged cedar
First light: bright grapefruit citrus, light cream, faint pucker factor one would get from citrus.
First third: medium body with big flavors. The smoke dissipates quickly with a clean finish, though the grapefruit and pucker remain on the palate. Very pleasant.
Florals and cream start to enter the scene.
Second third: no transition, florals, grapefruit and light cream.
Final third transitions to hay, gentle spice, and oak wood. Brazil nuts and toasted bread. Body remained medium and strength was mild.
Overall a superb performer. I am a Davidoff CT guy through and through, but this Connie impressed with big flavors and a clean, smooth finish. Not my typical profile nor a cigar I would reach for on the regular, however it was a superb experience, and one I would recommend.
