Kramer ends his career....

So, if it was a joke instead of a tirade, it would be o.k.????

How many here would pass the Mark Furhman test? Just curious.....

not quite, a good comic would have the ability to keep an audience laughing with his stand up. the fact that an audience member interupted his act just shows that he wasn't doing very well at entertaining.

I just heard about this on Fox News, XM version with no video. If it's been picked up nationally, I think his career will take a serious setback. I'm not going to even bother listening.

Watch... I have a feeling that it will pick up from the shear fact that people hearing the story might dig a little deeper, and a renewed interest in him might sprout.

That was hard to watch. He is messed up, that's for sure.

I only got as far as the first minute and a half, then I had to close my youtube window. I think what makes this hard to watch is that Richards is lying through his teeth about being sincere sorry for what he said, it was more like he is sorry he just messed up all possible future opportunities.

I'm not going to say Archie Bunker was a better person, but atleast he was honest.

I watched that apology last night on Letterman and it started out good. The crowd was actually laughing at him because it was so ridiculous. I don't know if has any substance abuse problems or if thats what happens when you screw up like that right before the release of Seinfeld 7 and Jerry tells you "you better not go to sleep F'er or you may never wake back up! You gotta make this thing right, either you come on Letterman and take your lumps or some boys are gonna come and pay you a little visit" LOL!

It was difficult to watch, he was all twitchy and didnt know what to do. Same with Jerry. It reminded me of two kids getting caught in school doing something totally wrong and then trying to explain it to the principle, seriously. So broken up with umm, umms, ahhs, hand waving, etc.....

What else could he do at this point? If he's sincere with is apology and seeks out help for his anger then it's a good thing. If not, it's no loss to me.

Nor would it be any loss to him. He's made his millions with the Seinfeld run (and residuals from DVD releases, reruns, etc....). I'm not condoning what the guy did (damn, I'm surprised they didn't find him beaten to death in an alley way!) but Seinfeld put him on easy street for the rest of his life... I'm not sure why he even felt the need to hit the comedy club circuit. He best get his therapy and fade into the background for good.
