You can't make this stuff up
The Erie area got POUNDED by rain Monday. Up to 6 inches in some areas. This is a picture of the Belle Valley Volunteer Firehall during a lull in the storm. The vehicles parked around the building belong to the volunteer firefighters who were out in the community responding to all the calls for assistance. After the water subsided, they found several inches of mud in the firehall. Equipment was washed out of the building. Still no dollar amount on the damage the water caused.
It's raining again as I write this. There's no doubt that Belle Valley will be out helping as needed.
