The Warden spotted this one and said “I don’t hate it, get it.” Made by Loevsky & Loevsky of Carlstadt, NJ. My research says probably 1960s. I purchased some crystal pendants on the cheap to replace what’s missing on the spindle in the middle. Not sure about the patina. It’s painted cast metal and there are a couple bad black stains. I was thinking about a light wire brush and then bronze/gold paint.

I believe this was electroplated brass and I lost a lot of that during the initial cleaning, so I went with a gloss gold spray paint.

I tried to keep it accurate to the period but I think I ended up channeling my Grandma Iannucci! (Which might be accurate to the period!) She had a massive chandelier and I know it was in my parents attic before the house was sold. I was hoping to incorporate some of the crystals from it but no luck in locating it. So off to Amazon I went. I did flip flop the marble piece that was under the base before (mistakenly I think). Happy with it. Let’s see if the Warden still doesn’t hate it!
