well, did something for the first time this morning.
my very first morning cigar!! what a way to start
labor day. it was my dad's idea. i looked outside
about 0730 and said"man! it's nice and cool out here!"
(72° instead of usual 85-90° at 0730)he said" why don't
we have a cigar for breakfast?" capital idea! i had a zino
mouton cadet robusto, he had a don tomas maduro lancero,
and we both had a cup of strong sumatra coffee. i haven't
had a cigar taste that good since i was a newbie! i guess
when you don't have all day to corrupt your pallet, you get
more of the flavors. this definately is a great way to start
labor day, and won't be my last morning cigar.
Well, I decided since I don't have much planned today except go to Daytona Beach for a while, I'll start my day off also with a nice ceegar. I grabbed an Opus X Reserva D Chateau 7 x 48. Finished off a pot of French Roast and read the morning paper from front to back.
Excellent cigar to start off the day of a relaxing 3 day weekend.....
Well... it really was "labor" day for me... LOL! I weeded the yard, worked on the potted plants and orchids, mowed the lawn and washed the wife's car! WHEW! Thank goodness for a couple of great "yard 'gars" to make it bearable!
Yeserday we ended up roasting a lime, garlic beer can chicken and smoking a couple of ISOMs. One Bolivar pitet carona(KICKED ASS), and one RyJ tubed(tastey). Saturday we hitn the local sweet corn festival and I'll be countin kernals for the next week or two, but it was damn good corn!
