So I am browsing (ok, spending money) on Cbid and was able to score:

A Box of Padron #6000
A couple of 4 packs of Perdomo ESV 91 Prestigio (Natural and Maduro)

Probably saved 30%. Now I would have not necessarily spent the money but who can pass up a deal like that :sign:

BTW, besides Cbid, Thompson, JR and Famous are there any other sites worth looking at? I still have a spare hour or two in the day.

There are vendors on this site that might have given you a better deal than what you scored on in CBid for Padrons.

From what I have been told, they have been given better deals to CP members than what you would get on the internet.

And what was the final price on the Padrons 6000?

If you like the auction then give CigarAuctioneer.com a try. I have used them some .... a bit ... a lot ... OK OK way too much ... and never had any issues.

I have a low opinion of Thompson, perhaps unwarranted, perhaps not.

Final price including shipping for the Padrons was $136.

I still purchase from regular B+M. My own favorite is Uptown cigar in Kingston, NY. Quality people, very knowledgeable and they will hold certain cigars for me because I order from them (like Fuente Hemingway). But sometimes they do not have what I am looking for in stock and sometimes I just want to play around like eBay.
