Lee's vacation update..

Hello mudda, hello fadda, here I am at ......oops, wrong song! LOL

Well folks, just wanted to let you all know I'm alive and well in sunny Sandbridge!

Yesterday, I attempted to smoke a pork shoulder in, so, I got the smoker fired up and kicked back with a beer. Well, several beers later, it was evident that this was going to be an all day job. So, I fired up a Boli PC and kicked back with a vodka tonic. Wow! Waht a smoke, complex and full of flavor, enjoyed it to the nub!

After finishing the BBQ, we had cabobs on the grill and I sat on the deck with a tawny port and a Fuente DCSG. What a finish to a hard day of drinking and cooking!! Did I mention it was in the 90's? Very hot!

Well, the cigars have been awesome so far as have the blue crabs, they're huge this year!!

More to come, I have a Monte #2 for today with port, so, until next time............

Campers update*****

Well, yesterday was not a good beach day, so, we spent most of the day sitting on the deck, watching the ocean and making fun of our neighbors!! There's also some construction work going on on some of the houses around us, so, we like to laugh at the workers as they smoke too much, look at women on the beach, etc rather than work!!

For dinner, our friend Flo made homemade eggrolls, and other interesting eastern dishes!! WOW, what a treat!

Last night was bingo at the fire station!! It's always an adventure as the caller is quite unique. She tells stories in between calling the numbers and confuses everyone! I had several drinks before going and enjoyed the ambience. The wife even won $15!!

Came back to the cottage for a port and a Opus Belicosa XxX (thanks Devin)! My buddy Joe and I sat on the deck while it rained and enjoyed our cigars, under cover of course! Tonight, I am treating Joe to an isom, his first!! I remember my first one!!

Today is golf day and I plan to walk 18 to get some exercise.

I think this is my favorite place to be as I sit out on the deck, looking atthe ocean, watching the jets fly training missions out of Oceana and I think to myself.....It's good to be an American.

BTW......Blue crabs are blue until you steam them, then they are red!!

Well, the sun finally came back after several rainy days, but, have no fear....there were still plenty of cigars to smoke!

Shared a SLR with my good friend from Atlanta last night, it was his first isom! I enjoyed a Boli Beilcosa Fina and it was superb!

Playing golf today.

Had blue crabs and clams again last night! The crabs are amazingly large this year!
