I am not one to post in topics like this (as I am still a HUGE noob), but this is just getting ridiculous.

Don, In the little time I have been here, most of what I see you do is run into callout threads (and other threads that don't really need your help) and playing the "give this guy/gal some slack" card. I for one am tired of seeing it. YOU are doing this to YOURSELF!!!

I hope that you read this thread and take some time to do a little soul searching (but I don't think you will), and realize that you need to chill out a bit, and quit putting your foot in your mouth...

The whole "stay out of my contest threads" is a bit odd. Just lay low. Come back and review a few cigars. Welcome some Newbs to the board (on the Intro board not with endless contests). The constant contests just seems a bit odd. It drips with desperation to reach out to the Newbs so that someone will have your back in drama filled threads. If you really enjoy this community (even without the drama) than just relax. Sit back. Show you are concerned about the rules you have admitted violating and work to avoid and correct those errors.

But only time will show you are sincere. Not contests or treaties to ignore me if I ignore you.
 
Wow, this is unreal. I don't know what to say. ??? I wish you well in real life, Don, but around here it seems to me you've went off the deep end.
 
Most have noticed I am pretty easy going and that I can play well with others. I've had a couple of CP'ers that got on my nerves. You want to know what I did Don? I took the high road instead of having something trivial get taken out of hand. I have no beef with you Don so its on the record. I will be a member of this board 5 years in November and I can say that many things have happened to members when they just can't mind their P's and Q's. Even when I got tired of what was happening, I decided it was time to move on from CP. If my memory serves me right, only 2 people on the board sent me a PM when I posted my good bye.

Between the crap that has happened and my health issues, it was better to walk away for a time. A few friends said don't leave CP for good and recommended that I take a break. After pondering it for some time, I took the advice of a break. It was better for CP and myself as I my temper was on its last straw. But I did a good bye post because many knew of my health issues as I am pretty open and honest. If I can tell my friends like Smokyballs and OpusXKC what was going on with my health, I see no difference letting the membership of CP know what goes on as well. I've met my fair share on the board including Rod and Seadub who welcomed me out in a Cali Herf when I went to Vegas. I felt I owed everyone a good bye when I left.

As one can see I am back once again after a little break. It really helped me out as I am not going to snap because of what goes on anymore. Many CP'ers that get this kind of attention bring it on themselves. I remember when I was a kid my parents always said think before you speak. I pass this wisdom and logic onto you Don. You may need a break and I recommend taking one. Its better to not take all this so personal as it has nothing to do with you. Unless you bring it on yourself which you have done so well. Its unfortunate but its the facts of life.

I read the post Souldog did before I read this one and the first thought that came to mind was you posted something like this Don. Take this as a wake up call if you want to stick around and change the way you interact with others on this board. I can't stress this enough that this is a wonderful community and many possibilities to gain new friendships and connections with others across the USA and the World. :thumbs:
 
If you read the posts here and Elderboy's, most members with history here at CP had consistently ad monished you to take a keyboard break. Don, enjoy a nice cigar and chill. I am enjoying a young D4 and chillng. Do the same! Have a great Memorial day weekend and go to the beach with a nice stick. If you have to type, type nothing more than these, "AFK...BBL"

Why? Don has repeatedly stated that he doesn't agree with us on how we deal with situations, yet he comes out and says "I'll say what I want, when I want". Doesn't that seem a little hypocritical to you? So that being said, Don has opened this door so I invite and encourage advocates and opponents to come out and "Say what you want" in honor of Don so he knows how you guys really feel about him!

As a total newb here as well, i'd like to offer something to the OP. This is not through the wisdom of the board and in no way am I trying to nose in on what seems to be a history here but to the OP, I offer these words:

"People don't change because they want to, they change because their context tells them they must". I think you are getting valuable hints from the members here to do just this.
 
I get the feeling that he's sitting back, watching this, like Nero watched Rome burn.

I would handle this like I handle my son when he has a kicking and screaming fit: Just ignore him until he figures out that he has nothing to gain by throwing a tantrum, and mellows out.

Just my opinion.

Now why would you want to dig this up it has NOTHING to do with you. You have been less than 3 months and trying to start drama. As for your first statement I have posted more than a few times since this happened. As far as I am concerned it is done.
 
My bad, it was at the top of the list, it looks like the gentleman before me bumped it and I didn't look at the dates. I just made an observation, that is all. I retract my statement as it appears it was out of time/context.
