Life Lesson: When allowing a realtor to show your house....

It's okay Brandon, you know you're still my second favorite hosemaster!

I know buddy. I read it at work after I had a "customer" call me a liar and scream profanities at me. Since my wife sells real estate and generally goes out of her way to help people, by which I mean she has me fix all the odds and ends to get a deal to go through, it sort of rubbed me the wrong way.

Please accept my apologies Brandon, I have had a bad experience with Real Estate Agents in the past and temporarily forgot that not all Agents have been tarred with the same brush.
I truly am sorry I hurt your feelings Bro :(

Ugh. Showed up to the house yesterday after work, to find the realtor, new potential buyers (house entered escrow), landlords, and home inspector all inside the home. No notice. Glad I didn't have any of my guns in the house, as they were allowing the buyers' little girl to run amok inside. I'm at my wits end, and I'm ready to start taking legal action if these kind of shenanigan keep happening. Told the landlord as much.

That sucks, man. When we were in the last 2 months of our lease, the realtors were giving us a pretty hard time. We've got a 100+ of dog, so he gets the run of the house. When they said they would start showing the house (multiple realtors), we got his kennel out and would cage him if they were to come over. Twice we came home to find him locked outside, sitting by the back door (not fenced in). They said "We couldn't get him into his cage, so we just let him outside." As soon as we mentioned lawsuit we started to get more phone calls...

[rant on]It's not just realtors, it's everywhere. Self-entitlement has turned good people into inconsiderate pr*cks, parents and kids alike. I see it constantly at work... John Q. Dbag is way too wrapped up in his iPhone to know when he should reach down and slap the shit out of his kid. 'Oh lil Johnny can do what he wants - who am I to tell him no?' I was actually told this by the father after customers asked me to reel in his kid!!! :0 (pops was on his facebook app)[/rant]

But life is good thanks to the good people and great cigars :D

Yeah. I got my ass kicked as a kid if I did something stupid. I am a firm believer that it made me a better person. :p

Yeah, at least they have figured out that if they get my dogs killed, someone is going to pay, dearly.
