I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
Just wanted to share my insanely weird weekend misfortune. Anybody ever had two cars break down in one weekend, let alone on the same day???? Happened to me on Saturday. Driving home from Pasadena after getting my last minute mom's day gift, and after meeting up with the lady from her girls night out - her cars just DIES on the 210 freeway. Two hours later, after the tow truck finally arrived, we drop it off at the dealership. I go to pay the tow guy...cash only. My wallet is empty. Get the cash from a nearby bank, pay him, and he leaves. I get in my car to go back and pick up the girlfriend from the dealership...............my car wont start. Nothing. Nada. Zip. These are both Honda's. Same problem, on the same day with no sign of trouble before this all happened, on either car.
I call my cousin to come jump me, as I figure it was just a dead battery for whatever reason. He jumps me, and I'm good to go. I go out to drive it around to build up a charge. Come to a red light, and boom. DEAD. Nothing. NADA. Again!!!!!.....I was so pissed I could barely breath. I suck it up and start pushing to the dealership which was right up the street. Just so happens my good buddy Joe was driving past, so he got out and helped me out, thank my lucky stars!!!
Long story short, $1000 in repairs for both cars, and completely car-less for mothers day, today we are back on track... for now. But there go the tax incentive checks!!!!! LOL. It was the craziest day I've had in a real long time. It was very frustrating to say the least.
SO........I wanna hear some positive things that happened to you guys/gals this weekend. Let me hear the good things about your weekend. ANYTHING.
Thanks for letting me rant.
