I have a Gurkha legend Gurkha Legend Aniversario Perfect . Which end am i supposed to light and do I cut it?

The cigar looks the same at both ends, what is the point of that?

I think you're looking at a perfecto, not a toro.
It's the same procedure, however. Clip the head and light the foot.
A toro looks like a big robusto or corona (rounded head and flat foot). The perfecto comes to a point at both ends.

I got one of these, and it's open at both ends apparently. I'll take a closer look in a few and give an inference.
Edit - After a closer inspection, both ends seem to have caps on them, however, there is a tell tale sign after looking at the wrapper. The head is usually in the same orientation as the band, presuming you left the band on.
If you took the band off, I would suggest closely look at the center of the cigar and start turning it until you can discern how the wrapper is put on and follow the overlapping, that will lead you to the head. Both ends are open, so cutting is not neccesary, unless you want to create a bigger opening.
Hope this didn't confuse you too much, although its probably information you already know/figured out for yourself. Good luck with the perfecto.

Yep that would be the one. Anyone know anything about Gurkha cigars here or like them? I have a bunch of new ones That I have been trying. The expedition was ok, the legends so far are the best.

Gurkha makes many blends in this shape. The head of the Gurkha warrior is the end that goes in your mouth.

Nice change from "Gurkha is over-priced crap" and similar comments. But then, that place tends to be somewhat narrow-minded and clique-ish.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.
Overpriced but good. I still think you can buy better for less, but it doesn't change the fact that Gurkha makes good smokes.

Overpriced but good. I still think you can buy better for less, but it doesn't change the fact that Gurkha makes good smokes.
check out Cigarbid, you can usually get them for maybe 2-4 dollars a stick, and they come out in 10-15 lots at a time. I think 4 bucks is a good price for a good cigar.

I have been buying Gurkha cigars on cbid for the last couple of months. I walked away with 23 cigars worth o300 dollars for about 100 bucks. I scored a fiver of some Padron Anniversario's for about 40 dollars, and A bundle of RP Vintage seconds for 20 bucks. This is a pretty nice place to buy cigars for us cheapskates if you ask me.
