Litto Gomez Small Batch No. 1

This thread got me wondering, so I cracked open the box... yep, the wrappers are still looking beautiful:

I have a love hate relationship with LFD. Some of his smokes just have so much power, I can't taste them. Then others can be delicious. While I wouldn't go out of my way to smoke them, I have to say that Moki's photo of the box sure got me thinking.

Me too. I don't chase them often, but if pictures are worth a 1000 words...............damn.

I'm pretty surprised my iPhone took that nice of a picture at night indoors.

Something to keep in mind when you decide to smoke any of the SB's is this, DRY BOX the cigar for at least 48 hrs. The wrappers are shiny for a reason, they suck up humidity like a sponge. Most times when you remove the band from these sticks the embossing on the back side is filled with "wrapper juice". Dry boxing them down to about 65% or less for a couple of days will make this a much more enjoyable smoke, they burn better the flavor is more defined and the true essence of these cigars will shine through. I have a few 1's and several 2's I plan on smoking this football season that will soon make their way to my smaller humi I keep around 60% for just such cigars.

King, you should be doing Hollywood scripts and then running the photography. I absolutely love to read your take on the cigar, then I really HATE you with those great photo's. Don't know how you do it, but you should be our Emeritus of Taste & Photo.

those photos must violate some sort of rule on the board, due to its pornographic nature.
