Moved on Thursday. I am having some withdrawl symptoms since I have not had a cigar since Wednesday. It's now Sunday, the big stuff is in the house but the little c r a p is still at the old house and many boxes left.

I sold the rider in favor of a walking mower since the new lot is about 1/2 the size of the old, about 1/3 acre, any suggestions about what kind? I was thinking 4 stroke unless there are pervasive reasons to go 2 stroke.

You sound like you are above my stature :0

I mow with a Wal-Mart special Murray 3.75 HP 22-Inch Lawn Mower, were I to be able, I would purchase THIS to be environmentally friendly :D

Bahahahahah. I think the 2 strokers are better smokers :D . They always seem to smoke really well.

CC and GG> you guys are just plain E V I L, don't you know our Kids have to breath what we create? ;)

You know, I can't say that I've ever seen a two stroke lawn mower. Is it something special for mowing inclines? Why else would you want something that you have to add oil before mowing?

A 2 stroke engine can turn a much higher RPM and stay together. Due to the oil in the gas, they also tend to last longer.

A lot of Lawn Service companies here in Texas use them, mostly Hondas. Great machines if you aren't fond of the Ozone Layer ;)

:D Please tell me your not one of the people that help measure the methane levels produced by bovine flatulance! :D

Scratch that. I was reading up, the UK looks like the only place to still get a 2-stroke mower. EPA got involved due to the massive ammount of polution those things cause and said No Mas to the 2 strokers.

:p

Nah, not me man. I do think it is a good idea to keep an eye on what we spew into the air, and to try and reduce our emmissions. But I am far from a tree hugging hippy.

And I certainly do not begrudge the cows their healthy Farts, hell you would fart a lot too if you walked around eating grass all day :p

As far as the 2-stroke engines, they were much better for steep inclines, for the same reason a 4-stroke chain saw wouldn't last through the first tree.
