Young bird, 2yo, but had 5 beeches w/ him

I'm ready for turkey season, anyone else getting fired up?

Who's coming down to the Casa de Gator to go chase the big Gobblers this year?

Very very nice!!! I'm thinking you are back east though...I'm in SoCal, we don't even have those fellers in the wild... :(

What a great sight though eh?? :D

Great sight indeed! Never saw one in real life. Nice!

Woohoo! Great photo! Looking forward to the season myself!

Ran across a half dozen on my way into town about a week ago. I prefer to just go buy mine at the grocery store though and let other people murder and maim.

Thats a nice looking Bird, I am a little disappointed that I only was able to get out once this past deer season with my bow. Enjoy your upcoming season

If you haven't called them in during the spring, you don't know what you're missing. Wild turkey tastes much different (better to me) than domesticated, but it's a little tougher.

Anyone who knows me wants to come down this spring, our farm is loaded up w/ them, i'll call one in fer ya

That don't look like no swamp to me!

I'll come down and hunt with ya! When is the season and when is the best time to hunt?

Season is March 15-April 20, earlier is better for me, April i get real busy.

Herf? Maybe mix in some grouper fishing? We have room at the house for a few folks, the daylight basement is 1900 ft

What else is in season, or should I say, What else can I shoot

Wont be long around here either. Plan on putting an arrow thru one this spring. Wild turkeys fry up great and do good on the smoker as well.

Man, I was thinking, with the weather change, you were going to smoke a big one, hehehe.

How far away is your farm from the casinos at Tunica MS? I am at the Grand 26th-31st and if it isn't terribly far, I might ride down and say hello.

Love the signature! That is right on!

about 6 hours +/-

Didn't do any good yesterday, birds were sluggish, and sounded 'henned up', meaning they had lots of womenses around. Monday, one dies.

Turkey hunting / fishing herf anyone?
