I know this is probably very simple for most of you but i am having issuses with trying to attach a picture to a post. Please help me figure this out.

Not sure on attaching photos, haven't tried.

To post photos you have to upload you photo to a photo site like photobucket and copy the direct link. then click the insert photo button when posting and past that link.

To attach a picture, first the picture has to be hosted...meaning using flickr, tinypic, or other image hosting sites. Then you just paste the url and add [IMG*] in front and [/IMG*] in back (don't use the asterisk. Just there to show the formatting.)

Try replying to a post with an image in it and note the formatting while editing your post.

Great thread I looked for something like this but only came up with the dictionary thread from AVB. This answered all my questions and will revert back to it from time to time.

Thanks Joe

Well that explains the HTTP thing when I click on the insert picture button. I will give this a try.

Thank you

You can upload the picture to the gallery here on cigarpass, too. Then put the address of the picture in your tag. On some browsers, you can right-click on an image and choose "copy image location" to get the address that'll go in the img tag.
