I just saw this article about a Lunar Eclipse on Wednesday Night. It starts around 10P EST and should be visible for about an hour. Sadly though I think here in CT we will have a cloudy night.
I hope the rest of you folks get to check it out, as the next total eclipse won't happen until 2010.

Yeah, I am excited. Just got a 114mm reflector in fact.

I heard it would start 8:30 EST but will be at full totality around 9:30-10.
 
It's also the Snow moon. The last full moon of Winter. Batten down the hatches.

I cant believe we'll have a cloudy night here. I really think this will be something to check out.
 
I would live to watch this with my 5 year old since it's early enough in the evening Pacific time. Unfortunately the weather man says rain the rest of the week. :angry:
 
Sweet, the wife loves these things!! And i just get out of training (grr!! me man!! shoot things!!!) at the right time!
 
I just saw the weather update for CT and we are going to have clear skies for the viewing tonight. :)

Clear in my part of Jersey. Very cool to watch.
 
Just about all covered here too....catching glimpses of it between breaks in the cloud cover; thankfully there's a pretty good wind blowing, so it's moving the clouds along nicely - though they are just being replaced with more.
