My Dad landed some Macanudo Robust line cigars and I cracked them open. I wanted to experiment and find out if they tasted smooth right out of the box. They did not.
They tasted harsh and uneven. It was bad at the front of the cigar and then good and then bad and then... You get the picture.
I have also found that Macanudo cigars get very hot early. I know that there is very little difference between a nickel cigar and an Onyx Reserve when you get to the end, but it seems like the Macanudos go bad awfully fast. I know they are a big player in the mass market, but am I alone in noticing these qualities of a Macanudo cigar?
