My favorite publication Make magazine
is having a fair, which kicks booty.
I thought you gentle(wo)men might like to check it out:

It's a magazine based on 'DIY' (do it yourself) folks. It typically includes a handful of 'big' projects and a few random smaller ones. One of my most favorite projects was the 'usb charger altoid tin'
Works like a champ, especially for the 20$ plus shipping the kit cost:

Anyways, that's all I have to say on the topic, enjoy. And if you're near San Mateo CA here's a good thing to check out this weekend. Tix are 15$ i believe.

Cheers!
Rob

Isn't there a magazine devoted to making odd new things out of tired old things? I think I leafed through a copy a the local Barnes & Noble once.

Wilkey, we're trying to make some new things out of some tired old things right now. It's called the WAR!!!!!

Oh sh.t, I just had to throw that in.

Hey Rob, you are bringing some great stuff to these forums. For real, I'm going to get a subscription and still am reading into the urban exploring. The only thing with the exploring is that I'm about to be a father of two, and I'm having trouble seeing my 33 year old ass running from some 23 year old security guards.

But you know what, I think I'd do just about anything with a DPG between my fingertips. LOmf'nL

That website kickass, I just finished doing a review on a kid name Mattew Nagel. He was stabbed in his neck and his c4 was severed. They placed a chip on his brain that allows him to preform some functions. By the way he is Quadriplegic. It is a neat story. That website has some crazy things on it.

I've yet to need to run, just flash my ID and walk to the car Your results may vary though.

Yeah it does, it's one of the few places I've found with ultra creativity. Very interesting stuff. Some of the gadgets, success stories etc are mind blowing.
