Thank you one and all for all your kind words and thoughts. I'll check to see if my wife has a digital picture of Max that I can post. I looked and didn't find one on my computer although I do have a few "real" photos with him in it.

Sorry to hear of the loss of a family companion. My wife and I had to put down her 15 year old cat a few years ago. Even though he'd only lived with us in our apartment for about 6 months, I felt the loss too. My condolences Ray.
