Hey, what do you know, I'll be there with a bunch of friends too (look for the two fat guys surrounded by hot woman). I've always found it best to just buy the 750ml bottles. I think you get much more bang for your buck, and let's face it after 2 or so hours they all just taste kind of fruity and bitter anyway. It's a bit sad that we can't smoke cigars in the bar anymore

What a blast that weekend was. We started out nice and early with 5 people doing brunch at a local bar (Yellow Dog Tavern). Moved on to Momma's on the Half Shell to meet up with friend number 6 and got to Max's by 1. Around 2ish we finally got ourselves a table in the corner. Mmm beer was so good. I've never been a real big Belgian fan but I do try. I first went with the Stille Nacht 2008. I've had the '07 and liked it. The 08 was okay also. I tried a couple of others whose names evade me at the moment. Nothing really jumped out at me until I tried the Leifmans Kriek. This was definitely my favorite of the night; strong cherry flavors and not too sweet. Definitely very drinkable. We had about 6 more people show up for the night. It just got crazier. In the end, one guy who's getting married next month is going to have to explain to my friend why he told her he was single, one girl is going to have to get a new job (don't drink with your friends when your on shift at the bar and really don’t let said friends “have a talk” with your manager), and I've got a date next week. All in all, not a bad way to spend Valentines if your single. If I get a chance, I'll post some of the pictures I took.
