Time once again for a scotch buy for those of you interested. Prices are delivered to your door and you must be a member in good standing (6 months/100 posts) to order. Money order if we haven't dealt before, check if we have.

If you have been watching the £ was at it's highest level in 23 years recently and some prices have naturally gone up (Gran Reserva jumped $10) so things are more expensive this time then last.

As always, none of these are available in the US to the best of my knowledge.

Depends what you like. for the peat lovers the LAPHROAIG 2000, BUNNAHABHAIN 1997 are really strong. There are 2 good sherried bottles and the UNPEATED Caol Ila is rather interesting. As always it is hard to top the Gran Reserva or the Green Spot but I think the sleeper is most likely the Duncan Taylor 38 but that is just MHO and YMMV.

I try to make what I put on the list all good drams so nobody gets a "lemon".

Usually this goes pretty quick. I guess my other special buys cut into the scotch funds. ???
 
PM sent Ray. Sorry I was out of town as my brother came in for a Computer Convention which was a blast. He said Jack Stack was the best BBQ he has ever had. They catered it in so we had a hell of a time there. Unfortunately we didn't win a prize, but the wealth of knowledge makes one a winner. :thumbs:

For those who may wonder why somebody who doesn't meet my "good standing rule", I know Mike from another board and we've done business before so he is in good standing with me.
