Memorial day weekend

During this holiday weekend remember to be thankful for members of the military who have protected our freedoms.
Remember the troops who have served and those who are serving now.
Especially now when we have more troops in combat than there has been for many years.

Many of the members of CP have been asking for donations to fill care packages.
I want to thank them for assisting to let the troops know we appreciate their efforts.

Wishing everyone a fun and safe Memorial day.

according to what I read in the papers, at 3pm I went to the park accross the street and played 'Taps' as the nearby sports game stopped for a moment of silence.
