Michigan Smoking Ban Passed

Darn it. There goes my plan to open a cigar bar in Kalamazoo...

Plan B: Houston, TX.

Cigar bars are exempt so you can go on with plan "A"

Cigar Bars are going to be exempt, but only if they are grandfathered in. No new cigar bars will be allowed to opened.

Existing "Cigar Bars" have to generate at least 10% of their sales from cigars. Only cigars are allowed to be smoked in the cigar bar.

Looks like Patios are going to be covered by the ban as well.

Thanks for the link. I've been going by what's been said on the radio and they all said cigar bars are exempt.
