What has always surprised me, are some of the names on this list, that before this year didn't receive 100% of the votes:

Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens and Sammy Sosa will have a tough time getting through. The writers are especially adverse to Bonds for all his issues with them. Maybe when they get to the "Veterans Committee" process, Bonds and Clemens will have a better chance. Sosa probably won't ever get one, since he has the corked bat issue and the PEDS speculation.
 
It's good that Edgar finally got the nod! He was fun to watch!
 
Being honest, I only recognize 7 names on that list.
