Mmmmm....Perique

Perique is one of those varieties that people either love or hate. I love it- in fact have had my tobacconist mix up batches of Dunhill Early Morning Pipe- with a good volume of perique.

Does anybody know anything about the variety? Curing process, etc?

Like you, I like blends that contain perique. The best I've had is McClellands' St. James Woods, but you've got me one-upped by adding your own. Cool!

If you like a nice blend of Perique, try the Dunhill Nightcap. Its nicely balanced in this tobacco. I dont think Nightcap is a way to describe it and have dubbed it to be called Morning Thunder. A nice blend I must say. :thumbs:
