Mold on my ISOM's

I've had very experienced guys tell me to "...just wipe 'em off and smoke 'em...." but to my tastes, once you get mold that bad on the body of the smoke, and for sure any substantial amount on the foot, the cigar is ruined, as far as I'm concerned. I've "...wiped 'em off and smoked 'em..." and they smoke like someone's old gym socks....eech. I just can't smoke cigars that have molded. I've returned cigars with less mold than that.....nice, hard to get cigars..... :(

Hey, to each his own but if they were mine I'd throw a fit and get them replaced. Bloom my butt....that's mold. I've found most reputable vendors will exchange moldy smokes pretty readily.

Thanks for the advice. Luckily there was no "bloom" :whistling: on the foot, just on the wrapper so I was able to wipe it off. I did send them 2 e-mails were I was pretty upset about them sending out a product that was not up to par. It took them a week before they decided to reply and you were able to read that...very nonchalant for a complaint if you ask me. Like a few have said it's almost not worth it for 3 cigars especially if I were to have to ship them back to Switzerland. The way they responded told me there would be no refund or replacements. Thanks for your insight B.B.S.

I am curious as to which Swiss vendor acted this way. Can you shoot me a pm with the vendors name? I'd appreciate it as I also use a swiss vendor occasionally.
 
Unacceptable. Especially their response. Even if they were just bad businesspeople and said "sorry, no refunds," I wouls be upset, but they flat lied. Anyone who would say that what is seen there is plume deserves a kick in the pants (not saying WHERE in the pants, either!)
That mold might not be too bad, and yes, you could wipe it off and smoke it, but the vendor's response is unacceptable to me. Then again, I'm a bit of an asshole.
 
For sure you should never purchase from them again. I'd also appreciate it if you could PM me the name of the seller so I will never use them either. That is if you can't out them right here on the board?
