Thoughs? Not a bad price.

For just $29.95, you will receive the three most popular Montecristo Afrique sizes, the 6 x 50 Jambo Jambo, the 5 x 52 Jambo, and the 5 x 44 Machame - each packed in a beautiful collector’s tin.

i like em. i just ordered 10 kilimanjaros that come in a free travel humidor from JR.

Not a big fan...Cameroon wrappers do nothing for me on most cigars. There are exceptions, but this was not one of them. However, if the deal is for just 3 cigars like it sounds, that is way too much. The Jambo was around $6 and the Jambo Jambo should be around $7. The small one is only aroun $3.50. If there are more than one of each size and I am misunderstanding, then ignore this post.

For the MSRP or JR price, whichever you buy then at, they are worth it. Not a bad cigar by any stretch, just not my thing. I agree with lucasbuck, they do have a unique taste.

I didnt read the part I copied and pasted, I thought it stated 3 of each. This offer is for 3 each of the 2 bigger ones and 4 of the small.

This is from JR, so shipping is only $2, so $3.20 each isnt bad. Might try em at that price.

I tried them once or twice and didn't care for them one bit. I prefer rich creamy smokes, these as I recall where more of a bitter, charcole type of taste. I try and pass on good deals and just focus on good smokes.

I've only had the Machame of those three. Middle grade cigar but if you can get them for $3 each I'd get more.

That's a great deal if you ask me. I don't care for them much (as others have said, they do have a unique taste). For ~$3.00/stick it's a pretty good deal on these.

JR has three tins, 8 total for $24.00 or something like that. I am using my aboslute resolve before I blow my Oliva money on it. The Oliva o bold reds are incredible if you haven't tried them yet.

I've sampled just about all the sizes; a rather unique taste that is hard to describe. I found them "pleasant" with the Ngorogoro being my favorite. The taste seems a little more pronounced in that size to me.

Ifn' you didn't care for this "African" blend I would recommend you try the Don Lino Aficas, one of the best new releases IMO. As usual, YMMV.

I think they are a good deal for an "off" cigar. By off, I mean different than just about any cigar ut there. They seem to taste better stored at %70 than %65. And I agree with Melski, the Don Lino's are good cigar!

I just received a 3 pack from JR Cigars...I am very surprised
at the sweet/chocolate aroma out of the cello.

I may try one tonight, but since I like full bodied cigars I'll
be sure to bring a back up in case I have to ditch this one.

T

Let them sit out of the humidor for 48 hours before putting them in the dor. Off the truck they are bitter and burn funky. After smoking a box of assorted sizes I have come to this conclusion. Let them sit for about 2 months. After that, smoke them young. They seem to get flat after awhile. Ageing potential? Dunno, very unique flavor.
