God I was young when I fell in love with Annette Funicello. I thought she hug the sun, the moon and the stars. But being 12 it was such a great feeling.

Annette passed away due to MS ar age 70.

Here's to those days of yesteryears when a horse named Trigger, a jeep named Nellybell and a dog named Lassie made life so simple and enjoyable.

Honestly, my only real familiarization with Annette Funicello comes from Stand By Me...

I think CNN actually had this posted as well for a few minutes. Gotta love when outlets have to be the first to break the story and don't check up on the validity of the facts first.

I have had a strong suspicion that "journalism by google search" has been increasing, over the years. It's pretty alarming considering the lack of vetting, but propagating, that seems to be going on.
