Music that doesn't suck

Descendents / I'm not a loser

Next.......

I like bitches
All kind of bitches,
To take off my shirt
and pull down my britches
If shes got big t*ties
I squeeze 'em and hold'em
while she suck my d*ck and lick my scr*tum.

Cuz a cat is coming straight outta the know
Ready rock them shows all the ...
Bring that Brazil booty on the floor
Up, down, all around
Work that **** to this funky sound
Wanna see what I'm gonna owe
Po, Po, Po, Po, PopoZao, PopoZao
Po, Po, Po, Po, PopoZao, PopoZao
Po, Po, Po, Po, PopoZao, PopoZao

Isn't that Britney Spears's (Kevin Federline) Husband song? :whistling:

You can rely on the old man's money
It's a bitch girl but it's gone too far
'Cause you know it don't matter anyway
Say money but it won't get you too far

Hall and Oates, "Rich Girl"

how's about this one...

"Well, I was drunk the day my Mom got out of prison.
And I went to pick her up in the rain.
But, before I could get to the station in my pickup truck
She got runned over by a damned old train."

i've heard it, but i can't name it

David Allan Coe, the perfect country and western song

Slipping dodging sneaking creeping hiding out down the street
See me life shaking with every ho' I meet
Refried confusion is making itself clear
Wonder which way do I go to get on out of here

Dr. John: Right Place, Wrong Time

Look into my eyes and it's easy to see
One and one make two, two and one make three,
It was destiny.
Once every hundred-thousand years or so,
When the sun doth shine and the moon doth glow
And the grass doth grow...

Needless to say, the beast was stunned.
Whip-crack went his Whoopy tail,
And the beast was done.
He asked us: "(snort) Be you angels?"
And we said, "Nay. We are but men."
Rock!

LMAO!

I know who but I don't want to post another song!!!

they are hilarious!

LOL...I have this song on my harddrive right now. Tenacious D "Tribute"

Ok time for some Canadian content:

Lake Huron rolls, Superior sings
In the ruins of her ice water mansion
Old Michigan steams like a young man's dreams,
The islands and bays are for sportsmen.
And farther below Lake Ontario
Takes in what Lake Erie can send her
And the iron boats go as the mariners all know
With the gales of November remembered

That's an easy one, Gordon Lightfoot, Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald

Keeping it Canadian

Well, the woman said now come into my room
I don't mean to be rude but like it matters
And the woman said now what've you got to lose
It's what you were made to do, that's what matters

The daddy said I'm throwing my bones on you
So what if it was me and not you 'cause like it matters
And the jury said we're throwing the book on you
Would've hung you but for the old fool that's what matters

Sounds like but isn't quite. The line with "wayfarers on" shows that it is The Ataris remake. Henley sang "sunglasses on" :0

Sounds like Don Henley - Boys of Summer... Best line in that song IMHO is "Out on the road today, I saw a Deadhead sticker on a Cadillac." lol

Oh and since it's my turn at bat...

Don't lose the dreams inside your head
They'll only be there till your dead
Dream...

nope. they both said "sunglasses" and they both said "Wayfarers". the words are the same.

Marc's right. Only difference is the "Deadhead sticker" line...what did the Ataris use?

Don't even know if turns are still being taken, but I'll post a song that I used to have few lines of in my sig tag. Never was a huge fan of the fella who wrote it myself, but it's got to be some of the finest words (and anyone who's been there before as I have knows, truer) strung together among many of my favorite songs. Of course, the version I play almost daily is done by none other than:

One of the greatest covers ever:

It ain't no use to sit and wonder why, babe
It don't matter, anyhow
An' it ain't no use to sit and wonder why, babe
If you don't know by now
When your rooster crows at the break of dawn
Look out your window and I'll be gone
You're the reason I'm trav'lin' on
Don't think twice, it's all right

It ain't no use in turnin' on your light, babe
That light I never knowed
An' it ain't no use in turnin' on your light, babe
I'm on the dark side of the road
Still I wish there was somethin' you would do or say
To try and make me change my mind and stay
We never did too much talkin' anyway
So don't think twice, it's all right

It ain't no use in callin' out my name, gal
Like you never did before
It ain't no use in callin' out my name, gal
I can't hear you any more
I'm a-thinkin' and a-wond'rin' all the way down the road
I once loved a woman, a child I'm told
I give her my heart but she wanted my soul
But don't think twice, it's all right

I'm walkin' down that long, lonesome road, babe
Where I'm bound, I can't tell
But goodbye's too good a word, gal
So I'll just say fare thee well
I ain't sayin' you treated me unkind
You could have done better but I don't mind
You just kinda wasted my precious time
But don't think twice, it's all right

How can you not like Bob Dylan? Check out "Most of the time", great song.
