Well, the wife and I went to the doctor last week and she's 11 weeks along, this week. Our tentative DD is January 24th. I'm pretty excited, don't really care what gender it is as long as it's healthy. Just wish I could have written the kid off of my 2005 taxes :laugh:

Wish me luck, those w/ kids. I do have a 5 year old step-son, but I'm thinking a kid of my own will be a totally different experience.

How long did you wait between marrying the lucky gal and having one of your own?

BTW get ready for midnight runs to the store for pickles and ice cream! I feel for ya.

Congrats!! You are right, nothing can come close to your first child being born.

Congrats and keep the camers away from your wife, ESPECIALLY during the Holidays!!!!!
My in-laws now have a glorious professional pic of me on Christmas Eve and our son was born one f**king week later Could they wait???? :angry: So my husband is not allowed to take any pictures :laugh:

My fiance feels the same way. WTF?! She is beautiful no matter what...but she won't let me see pics of her pregnant.

I may just have to get her pregnant myself just so I can see how beautiful she looks with a big round belly and someone growing inside her!
 
CONGRATS! I would send you a smoke to celebrate with but unfortunately nothing in my collection is worthy of such a blessed event.

When my first was born, I had to tell my parents that until that day, I never had any idea how much they loved me.
