My cigars from Casa Fuente

The Master said:
Nice score you got there. The Casa Fuente is my favorite new cigar. The combo of the cameroon wrapper with the strong spicy Opus filler makes for a fantastic smoke. I would be buying them by the box if they were a ten dollar smoke.

Can you order from Casa Fuente over the phone, or do you have to go there in person?

I'd sell all of my boxes if I could get those prices too!! So if anybody is interested in the Belicosos or Corona Gordas just let me know!! :D

The reason the prices are so high at Casa Fuente is because of the incredibly high rent they have to pay. Imagine if you had to pay 20-25 grand a month in rent, of course the prices have to be through the roof.

It is the same at most every cigar store that is in a major casino, they have some of the most expensive retail space outside NY City.

Will be there May 29th to June 2nd, Mandalay Hope to meet some people there.

Just got back from Casa Fuente today, and smoked my first Casa Fuente in the belicoso size. What a great smoke; a definite must try for any Fuente fan!

The CF BF should be $23, and I don't remember what they are charging for the Opus, but I remember it seemed high. Just about every cigar in Vegas seems to cost too much.

Still, I'd love to try that LBMF!!! Let us know what you think when you smoke it. :)

Honestly, the only cigars that I would buy from Casa Fuente are the Casa Fuentes... everything else they sell there, while excellent cigars, are ridiculously overpriced. Buy 'em if you won big, or feel like splurging, but an LBMF, for instance, isn't going to taste *that* much different from a regular production Opus X cigar of similar size.

Still, they are damn cool looking. :)

Very true... oddly enough, despite the bitching about prices at the Casa, they have the cheapest Opus X cigars on the Vegas Strip.

The other thing that one of the managers there related to me was that for the special cigars (BBMF, etc.) they wanted to price them high enough that people couldn't purchase the cigars there, and reasonably resell them on the secondary Yahoo market. Makes sense to me... you know someone would do it if they thought people would pay the prices.

My thoughts exactly.....sure nice to see that many OpusX's in one place, though...

I bought 10 CF's while I was there, and had one with a Mojito on the mall. Nice, to be sure...but it just didn't blow my shoes off. I'll let them sit for a while and re-visit them, now that my palate isn't pre-soaked with days of relentless alcohol consumption...(Vegas, baby.....).

"Normally, one would have to travel to Sin City, just for a chance to sample one of these pricy super-premiums, often paying prices close to $40 apiece."

Now, I believe that's bull s#!t. Only one store I know of that sells them (was there on Monday), and they do not sell for "close to $40.00"....

Still bet they go for $100.00 each on CBid..... :sign:

Absolutely love the Casa Fuente cigars. Have tried 'em all but the Churchill and have not been let down by any of them. Just an outstanding and complex smoke!

Nice score!

Suuprisingly holding at $29 each with a bid of $31 to win. :whistling:

I thought most of them were in the low $20's when I was there in Oct. When I was there I didn't see anything else that was really that interesting or couldn't be had at regular stores.
