Errrr Buying or Trying?

When Buying: One of each? and maybe 3 or four of the Opus? :sign:

When Trying: I'd say the Opus X Perfecxion X, I'd hate for the xXx to kick your ass during a mortar attack, so you need to make sure your on downtime before you smoke it.

Anything but the Curly Head. IMO, that cigar is just garbage, good for moochers though. My favorite would be the Anejo, especially if they are fresh. The Cuban Belicoso come in second. Opus aren't tasty young, but get better with age. The Chateau Fuente is alright, but I hear after a year, they become quite the tasty stick.

Sorry, Trying...the list is my current stash

Hell ofcourse You should start with xXx ...right before the breakfast~! :whistling:

I would try anything but the curly head. I picked up a box of them awhile back for dirt cheap. Thank god I didn't pay retail for it. I smoked one, hated it and tried another hoping the first was a fluke. From that point on they were designated to be given to moochers.

This is the order I would go with if I were a novice.

AF Curly Head (The Deluxe has a band) - A cheap daily cigar. Mild. Great start, IMHO
AF Double Chateau Fuente - Is this maduro or natural? Either way, mild to medium, and great cigar.
AF Cuban Belicoso Sun Grown - The SG's are great, BUT, I usually can not stand a SG unless it's been sleeping for 6 months or more. Just my taste though. Medium strength.
FF Opus X Perfection X - I usually find the larger Opus milder than the smaller. The Perfection X is one of my favorite sizes. Have something close to drink, because the taste of this cigar might be a little too much at first.
AF Anejo Reserva No.46 - I put this one between the Opus because I usually get a little bit of a tummy ache after an Anejo. They aren't as "strong" as an Opus, but they aren't weak either. Anejos are "ok" in my book. I'd personally take an aged SG over them, or a Hemingway maddie.
FF Opus X xXx - This cigar is strong. If this is fresh, it might be a little tricky to keep going (atleast they are with me). I would hold on to this for awhile (6 months minimum)

Wow, wish I would have seen this before I smoked....
I went with the Perfection X, and I was very happy. This was by far the best constructed cigar I have smoked. Razor sharp burn, super ash, and a great draw. I would have to place it second on the flavor list, I still like the CAO Brazilia Gol the best so far.

My curley head does not have a band ??? and the DBL Chateau is a Nat. I am still feeling my way into the maddies, the first 2 I had I did not care for, may have been the cigar and not so much the wrapper.

Thanks for all the advice

Tim

Just means is a regular curly head. I believe the regular curly heads (bandless in cello, and A. Fuente is on the cello in white print) are short filler, while the curly deluxes (has a band and come in natural and maduro) have a band that reads curly deluxe.

That right there is the best thing I've ever heard. Always try a cigar TWICE. The first could always been a fluke.

The Perfection X is an awesome cigar, don't get me wrong. I will warn you, that little XxX is a different beast, and when I say beast, I mean beast! You've been warned! :D :sign:

Take your list in order, except that I agree about the Curly. Give it to someone you don't like.
