My first Tatuaje Tainos

While watching the Boston Carolina series I decided to try the Tainos that I have had sitting for a while.

At first I expected the normal Tatuaje spice, but was pleasantly shocked. The first half was real earthy with a hint of earth (I would describe it as woody). It was real smooth and surprising with not as much coco as you would expect with the brown labels line up. But even more surprising was that there was no spice. The flavors really hit just before the half way point and did not stop. I would even taste a hint of cinnamon from time to time. But overall a great earthy cigar with very smooth woodsie taste that lasted all the way to the last inch.

A very pleasant surprise from what I expected!

Many people can appreciate DPG's less spicy blends. Other good DPG blends of that ilk are the DPG Vegas Cubanas and DPG JJ Naturals.

I just smoked this one while camping this past weekend. Very mellow and enjoyable, need to get some more.
