I love this time of the year.

It got down to the lower 50s last night and we kept the windows open in the house. Only got down to 73 inside our house :0

44 degrees here in STL last night and the last cigar was finished on the deck at 11:30, you could see breath and my fingers started to get cold. Good training for duck season however.

When I arose from evening slumber as the sun was awakening in the east I glanced yonder and saw to my complete displeasure a temperature reading of 24 degrees.

It hasn't been over 55 degrees here for 3 days! (it is supposed to be 65 or so today, though)

We saw the overnight low 30s several times in August! The weather here is so strange. This may be the longest fall we've had in a few years, though. No big storms predicted in the near future (which will keep the colors on the trees for a bit longer). Usually as soon as everything finally turns a big wind storm comes through and blows it all down. 3 years ago I looked out my window one morning and noticed the autumnal season in all its glory. I looked out the window at about 5 in the PM and all was lost.

If anyone ever heads up this way, all I can say is bring a full assortment of all the seasonal wear you may need no matter what the calendar says!
