Thus the pendulum swings both ways. My sister who is in a military family just got back from Iraq. she spent a year there, following her husband who did the same the year before. They have three kids and have spent most of the children's lives with one parent gone for 6 months at a time.
Much like the short film depicted, her kids seem lost.

Not only alone from the struggle of one parent, but in many cases, the spouse gets involved in another relationship, leaving the kids really confused.
