I was just wondering how diverse CP is. Also,to see how many of my fellow "Blue Collar Heros" take up the herfin' lifestyle.

I'm not really asking what you do, just wondering what the ratio is...

I would definitely have to say I work on the other side of blue collar, but in my job I advocate the rights of the poor and uninsured for access to healthcare and the right to live healthly lives.

It is fustrating sometimes, because those who have the hardest time getting care are those who work the hardest to provide for their families.

I'm a student studying business (thank god it's not grammer right CC) and work at a Cigar Shop... What would I be then? :D

I'm a Harley Mechanic by trade. But have found some more white collar or "under the collar" ways of making a living now. My hours are such that I can be home for my 13 yr old and my 8 yr old on a full time basis, that is my main objective other than smoking the finest cigars the planet has to offer. I still ride but it kind of takes a back seat now. Sturgis is my get away for the year. So, I definetly am full of blue collar mentality yet still maintaining a conservative approach.

Welcome fellow Newbie.

Retired and working part-time at a cigar shop. Guess that makes me lucky!

I am a blue collar worker here. In fact my whole uniform is blue. I am a shop supervisor/lower level management in the Coast Guard. A lot of long hours. But after 10 years my pay is finally at a comfortable level. Hats of to all my other brotehr and sisters wearing a uniform, wether it be civil or military.

I am actually wearing a BLUE COLLARRIGHT NOW!!! lol

I recently switched jobs..I work for a HUGE furniture company as a Delivery cordinator and Will Call specialist...

I am about as blue collar as one can get

White collar. I work on an AS/400 system or I should say I did. We are moving to the new Iseries.

White collar I guess, although I wear blue jeans and t-shirts most of the time.

I am a network engineer for a large ISP.

Hmmmmmm. I'd say white collar. Sit at a desk all day, designing boring data circuits for one of the largest Telecommunication companies in the world. We wear jeans and collared shirts, w/ shorts on Fridays during the summer.
