My new 1911

I'm 6'7", 235 with big hands and have always carried a 45, just put a set of Pachmayrs on it and you'll be fine. I've had the same Colt Combat Government for about 30 years now as my carry gun. Scratched, dents, bluing worn off in spots but it still works just fine.

I have a Sig 226 in mind for a redeployment gift to myself... just a little while longer to wait. Never shot a 1911 though. I have huge hands and someone said I'd find it a bit narrow.
