It was pretty here in Texas Wednesday so I took off a little early from work. Wifey and I hopped on the scoot and logged about an hour and a half out in the country watching the sun set.
Got back to the house for Happy Hour and fired up the new ashtray. Got this fire pit for Christmas and this was the first chance we'd had to use it.
I had a Coronado by La Flor, Toro 6X52. First one I've ever had. Very nice smoke. It would have been worthy of writing a review piece, I just didn't feel like making a bunch of notes. But I can say this, it was very well constructed, nice on the palate, a little stronger than middle of the road, (just where I like them best) and it finished well. I had a few burn probs but I think it was mostly me plus it was pretty breezy out.
All in all, a very nice evening.
