If I understand correctly, you are in favor of and did vote for the new SCHIP Bill.

If this is the case YOU HAVE LOST MY CONFIDENCE AND VOTE. I am sure that does not mean very much to you in the long run, we both understand that one soldier serving in Iraq does not matter. This was made clear when I received your caned reply to my first email.

I say again, asking a section of the population that does not have anything to do with child health care issues to foot the bill is completely ridiculous.

In the past myself and many of my fellow soldiers have been steadfast supported of yours, NOT ANY LONGER, it is clear that you would rather grandstand and ride a bandwagon of popular consent then make hard, but right choice on this matter.

My representitive sent me back a canned email saying that he supports the SCHIP Bill.
This was after I asked him if it is fair that my wife worked and paid taxes all of her life,
but has no health insurance now.
I also asked him where in the constitution does it authorize congress to pass such laws?

I told him that they all better read and obey the constitution or they will all be out next election, the public is tired of them trampling on it.

Never got a response from my senators or the White House.

Sad situation in D.C.

At least you got a response from her. I sent an e-mail the day i found out she was voting for it and i havent heard back as of yet. I called a couple days ago but one of her aides blew me off....I'm pissed considering i'm born and raised in this area and i'm a member of the armed forces having spent time overseas....

I really wonder whats happening to all of our politicians...they've always been a little shady but here lately some extraordinary shadiness has been going on...
