I never associated that shortened version of your forum name with political correctness until you mentioned it.

Alot of republicans do that sort of thing...deciding there's a problem where it doesn't really exist (IRAQ) so they can further their agenda (OIL).

BTW...the politically correct thing to do on this thread is to agree with PCAK's politics. :D

Man, oh, man. A fella makes a tongue-in-cheek post and some folks go all Al Franken on his butt. You can always count on the kool-aid drinkers for a good chuckle, if not for a warm welcome. Now, the rest of ya don't be too hard on 'em. Bein' called an idiot by those folks is like bein' called ugly by a toad. Other than bein' kinda sad and pretty funny, it doesn't really amount to a whole helluva lot.

Speaking of It's All About the Oil™...that dog just won't hunt. Anyone who thinks we're gonna get all kinds of free or cheap oil needs a gentle reminder that OPEC was founded in Baghdad.

And that's where I'll leave that. Seein' as how I'm so new and all, I don't wanna commit too many forum etiquette violations before I've even got my seat broke in good. 'Sides, there's no need to get all worked up about politics in a perfectly good cigar forum. There are other places to go for that.

Heheh...I'm afraid I don't fit that mold so neatly. Rush annoys the bejeezus out of me. O'Reilly is just okay in small, not-very-frequent doses. I guess I'm too damned old and cantankerous to be anyone's groupie...even Laura Ingraham's. Well...maybe if she smoked cigars...and flyfished...but naaaah.

Maybe I'm just bitter because I don't have groupies. Yeah, that could be it. Not that I actually deserve 'em but it'd be kinda nice...for a while at least. But then, before ya know it, one of 'em turns stalker and life just gets way too complicated. Bodyguards. Restraining orders. Body parts in the mail. Who needs the stress?

Seriously, I didn't mean to get everyone mad. Atleast you guys didn't drive old people to the polls to vote for Kerry, and he concide on you, he could have atleast finished it out, win or lose.
