Good friends moved back to Kansas City 3 months before Katrina hit. Others I knew are moving back to start living in their world back down there again. New Orleans is a fine place when the mardi gras madness is not around. I too still need to get back to there and witness the rebuilding. Hopefully it isn't all done by money mongerers looking to rebuild in the tropical zone and commercialize the hell out of it.

Words can't express. Every block has huge piles of debris, most every house has markings on it from NG search teams. It feels like an abandoned movie set.
