Got 7 before they was even released and they are not that impressive really. Just look cool but as for taste...just another ligero common stick from Litto.
Edit to add this: I just hope they get better with age cuz as of right now, very disappointed in these. :angry:

Seemed like a humidor decoration to me. Looks cool but probably too expensive to smoke regularly and the same filler/binder as the rest of his gars. But its still nice opening the humi and seeing one.

Unfortunately its true. They are just basically humidor show pieces. I gave one to OpusXKC and both of us fired one up. Both came to the same conclusions. Cool but way over priced for an ordinary Ligero cigar from LFD. But hopefully time will change that but very doubtful.

I ordered a box the other day. Even if they are show pieces(and I am sure you are right), I love LFD and I love perfectos. I don't know how many times I have fallen for Fuente gimmicks and paid more than I knew something was worth (ESG). Like my wife tells me, I am a sucker for the pretty wrapping.
Loren, are they at least on par with the rest of the LFD Ligero line?

I'd tend to agree... while they are good cigars, you're obviously paying for the vitola/presentation, which is admittedly cool.
The Small Batch #1's on the other hand... goooda stuff.

Way to mild for me. Its a decent smoke just way over priced. As Moki said you are paying for the presentation, thats all. The smoke itself isnt nothing I would write home to mom about. As much as I love LG products, this one really disappointed me.

So what is the going price for these for you all? I just saw these at my local shop yesterday. They were $22.95 each or $95 per box of 5.
I did not buy one as it was too pretty to smoke and of course I wanted to see what the word was here.

I smoked one this weekend and thought it was very good. It was very smooth and flavorful...but definetly not strong or spicy. I think that these will get better in time and with some patience...I do agree with you all though...not worth the price!
