Nascar- Bristol Night Race

So we got some tickets to the bristol night race in August. My family is coming down from Iowa for the race, should be a great time. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this race, or lives in the area.

We're going to be driving over from NC, which should be about 2.5 hours. Trying to figure out where we are going to stay, or if we will have to drive back.

any ideas or suggestions would be great.

I know they have quite a few camp grounds around...
I know a couple of BOTLs that usually go and pull a camper and stay the weekend at the camp grounds.
