A good friend of mine was the only non-celebrity qualifier for this event to broadcast sometime in April. He won the Caesar's Palace qualifier tournament to get his seat against 63 other poker players. He was in the third bracket and drew Allen Cunningham in the first round. Here are some pics as I was right in front. Good times...sadly he lost after nearly 2 hrs of play. He had Allen at a chip disadvantage all game and lost on 2 lousy hands.

Here are some pics...

tough draw, allen cunningham is an incredible player. it's also hard to play him cause he shows no reaction, you can't tell what he's thinking. that's pretty awesome for your friend though.

It was funny because before the match, Matazow came over to John Michael and gave him tips to beat Allen. Saying to all he needed to do was throw Allen off his game. He nearly did it by having a chip advantage all game. Honestly, Allen got two lucky hands and won.

Yeah, drawing Allen was tough. We had a good time though...lots of cigars before and after the match.

That's awesome!!!
Yeah, tough draw with Cunningham! But, I really doubt that there would have been any "cake" draws!!!

Thanks for the pictures!
