Hey Guys,

My brother is getting married this Oct, and I need to throw him a Bachelor party by the end of this month. I need some suggestions. Nothing raunchy, he doesn't like raunchy (although I do), so it should just be something very tame, yet fun.

Any ideas???

Thanks,
Rod

Sporting event like a basketball/football/soccer game??

Fishing or hunting trip??

Play poker in the basement??

Go golfing or hitting at the driving range?

Duct-tape him to the field-goal posts at his old high school??
:sign:
Just some thoughts.

Pack your Sherman with cigars, line your pockets with cash, get into the Mustang, and head to Vegas baby!! ;)

I'm actually going to Vegas in a couple weeks again. :)

Im getting married in Oct. as well. A group of friends are getting together to rent a van for us and are taking me down to Destin Florida for a fishing trip. Should be around 12 of us going, and with the costs split between the other 11, out of pocket expenses for everyone are not that bad. I pay for nothing the whole weekend, we all have a great time. Fishing, drinking, grilling out, cigars, beach, doesnt get much better than that. :D :D :D

Vegas sounds like fun too, though!!

VEGAS BABY! VEGAS!

Hey Rod - When are you going to be there? I'm in Vegas at the beginning of Sept.

Laughlin is a good alternative to Vegas. Closer to home, might be a 1/2 day fishing trip out of San Pedro or Long Beach. Could also do a Dodger/Angels game. Could do a trip to one of those non-raunchy titty bars and blow a couple-a-hundred in $1s. Could go see something at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilian and then go do something semi-raunchy. (Anything at the Dorothy Chandler should be boring as hell and make you want to get raunchy).

*note* Why is the Bachelor Party so damn early. If the dude is getting married in October, party should be in late September at the earliest. Whatever works I guess.

Golf and fishing are always good 'tame' bachelor parties.

I just got back from a great bachelor party for my best friend about a month and a half ago, in Ixtapa, Mexico. We spent 6 days in 2 condo's on the beach, the plane tickets were under $200, and the condo's were about $150 a person for the whole trip. It was fantastic. I'm going to Vegas on mine in about 8 months, but I'm already practicing my Texas Holdem. :D

Look at all the great locations around you Vegas, Tahoe, Reno at your disposal pick one charter a small tour bus pack your bags, throw on the kegs and golf clubs and a cooler full of cigars and head for the open highways

Have fun Rod ;)

What, no strippers???? :(
Destin has Sammy's!! That's where I am right now - Destin area I mean... uh....

Well, Sammy's later, maybe.
Ok Karl, whats a Sammy's. I am thinking that it's BBQ, but just would like some clarification!

JV.

ps, looking over a fine box of cigarpass cigars even as I speak! Elvis is in MY livingroom!

Vegas would be PERFECT. What a place! :D :) :) :D I should have said it first, what was I thinking?

Vegas. Baby! You can stay out of the strip clubs and go see one of the newer shows. Risque, not tacky. Although that midget thing sounds interesting.
