When does CP become someone personal ebay? I get the fact the we all, at one time or another, will sell something. My issue is when someone continually posts sales and the majority of their posts are in the B/S/T forum.

I think (hope) it's a sign of the times! Job layoffs, cutbacks in hours, etc. and one's cigar stash then becomes a source of quick cash to stay afloat.

I compare it to the "Cash for Gold" places that are popping up like dandelions throughout my neck of the woods.

Brandon you are correct. These constant sales should be put on Wade's site or Gartrader!

Please refer to the 'contributing member' thread!

By the way...'report' the issue to Bob and state your case.

I'm sure he will agree that it becomes a little old.

Often tough times create situations like this...it may not be the case, or it may...but like tone-ny pointed out...there are definitely other more suitable sites for this kind of thing.

I agree with that, but if 90% of the activity is in the B/S/T and the member doesn't contribute elsewhere, then it's obvious why they are here.

That's it in a nutshell!

Oh GOD I'm in trouble since I'm either in the Lobby or in the Saloon :(

I'll just assume that 1/2 of your posts are in each, so you posting 9,000 times in the Saloon is a lot of posting with a drink in hand!

It may apply to more then one...so what's the ruling?

Emphasize some sort of Do Not Buy From...I guess. Unless, we want to take this a step further and make a ruling that you can't sell a certain amount within a time frame...

It's about participation and defining active member.

But you have a point, although people who are new should understand why.

Amen. I've had a problem with one particular member for well over a year now because it seems that's all he does is stay in the B/S/T. I certainly don't have a problem stepping on toes, but you always have a few people come to their rescue and you end up looking like a dick because someone is stepping to the plate for them. What irritates the piss outta me are the ones that post 25 times in 3 days after nothing in the past 4 months to become "active" again right before they post their sale.
