I want to add some RAM to my sisters computer so I can put XP on it. She has a HP Pavilion 8566C with a Pentium III. With all the different RAM's available I'm not sure which one to buy? I'd like at least 256 to put in it, I have 2 open slots but would rather do it with 1.

Don't know if this is cheap or not but here's a sight with 128's for $32. Maximun memory for this unit is 384 mb so putting 3 of these in there would do the trick.
