I was drooling over some sites looking for my next puchase when I happened upon something about a new AVO. From the info I gathered it would be blend similar to my favorite AVO 22's or Boris 11 (I am not sure the difference in the blends). They come in boxes of 22 and should come out at RTDA. Has anyone heard anything else about these? As much as I enjoyed the LE07 and 05 the 22 kicked both their asses. Thus far this is my most anticipated new cigar though the San Cristobal doesn't look too bad and the price isn't crazy if it can match the flavor intensity and quality of some of the other Nicaraguan brands. But off the tangent, has anyone heard anything about the blend?

I'm skeptical that they can blend the cigar the same; my understanding that some of the tobacco used to make the original Avo 22s was used up in their production.

They've tried this before, making LE cigars a regular production, and it just didn't work out.

I seem to remember hearing that somewhere as well. Nothing will every take the place of the 22's in my book, but something similar might be spectacular in it's own right (glass half full I tell myself  ) I suppose I'll just have to stick with my Signatures until they release a bit more info.
